New paper to play with

I picked up a new paper pack at the H-L store. 40% off ya know.  It is a paper pack from My Minds Eye called Simply Delightful.  Love that this paper pack  is very versatile and on sale.  I took  3 coordinating pages of the paper and made a total of 11 cards.
I usually just make a front for my card.  I don't place it on card stock until I decide to mail it or give it away.  That saves me on the card stock  and if I don't like the "front" I can trash it with out feeling like I wasted the "whole" thing. I also can send the "fronts" through my big xyron machine and really make the fronts stick. I do use the card stock if I am building a front that I need to know the exact size of the card.  Like  if I'm using strips of paper or using just card stock as the background.   Out of the 3 coordinating papers I made just 3 "real cards"  the other 8 are just "fronts".
I guess the next big learning hurdle to jump now is to figure out how to get the pictures on my blog.
I'll try and photography the papers and the cards and get the pictures on the blog SOON.

This is a banner that I made for a Everything But The Kitchen Sink challenge.  I made this out of a frozen Stouffer's  Lasagna box. The challenge was to make something out of a house hold item.  This box had a really cool plastic covering on the inside of the box.  I thought "that would be cool to make something out of". So I did.  I got a few votes but didn't win the challenge.  It was difficult to link to my picture, which didn't help  me win. It is also one of the reason to start a blog.  So that I can have a place to post pictures of "my creations".  I will go back and look to see what else I can post that I have made and have photographed.

Okay I took the plunge and started a blog.

So here it is, my 1st ever blog.  I am starting this up with the idea of a place to picture my Paper Creations and a place that friends &  family can check in to see what we are all up to around  here.
